A home stylist revealed how she made a stunning arched shelf using the cardboard that lay around the house.
Geneva Vanderzeil of Brisbane recorded the entire process and shared a demo video on Instagram with TikTok.
“I love trying to create projects with small items from all over the house. I just played with this shelf until it worked,” she writes online.
The end result looks great and the DIY project is the perfect craft to complete if it is blocked at home.

A DIY enthusiast from Brisbane, Geneva Vanderzeil used old cardboard boxes around his house to create a trendy arch mirror.


To make a trendy shelf, she started by cutting out the shape of the arch and gluing a piece of wood cut to size along the bottom.
“Made of cardboard and wood chips, newspaper and glue paper mache covers, and the last plaster coat, it was put together much better than I expected when I first started,” Geneva said on Instagram. Told.
“I need to sand a little more, but I have to say, I’m pretty happy for just a few hours of work!”

“I’m going to experiment a bit more with cardboard crafts and see what else I can do,” she wrote online.
At TikTok, the video has been watched more than 22,000 times, and many dubbed DIY as “smart” and “incredible.”
