Welcome back to our fall Decorate with Me series. I’m joining Terrie from Decorate and More with Tip and Tammy from Patina and Paint to take you on a fall home tour! Let’s get right into it.
We start our fall home tour at the front door (the obvious way to start, I guess)! Last week I shared the full post.
On the door I used my fall twig wreath, which was so easy to make in about 10 minutes! Then next to it I placed a Dollar Tree sign that I did a little revamp on, & you can find that tutorial in the full fall porch post.
To the left of the door, I added some fall garlands with fairy lights on a 3-tier plant stand. Then I placed a large faux pumpkin, 3 small wood pumpkins, & on the top shelf, my DIY fall/Halloween lantern.

Here’s my finished fall front porch and a photo at night.

Fall Entryway
I don’t have a proper entryway, as you may know from my fall entryway post and video. To sort of create one, I added a shelf over my grandmother’s cedar chest. To that I added fall pillows, a blanket, pumpkins and a sentiment pumpkin from Dollar Tree in front of the chest.
Across from the entryway to the left slightly is our TV, which is mounted on the wall under a sofa table. Since we don’t have a fireplace, I love to decorate that table like a mantle.
The colors used in my fall home tour this year came from my rug. Imagine my surprise when I found matching colors in stems, garland, and a wreath at Hobby Lobby! The pumpkin stems, garland, and sign are all from there, and everything else came from Amazon.
Here it is on my fall styled coffee table with my DIY fall planter…
Next up on my fall home tour is my kitchen. It was completely remodeled when we moved in, though it does need new appliances (in my opinion, but they work, so I’m blessed!) and I really want to paint the cabinets.
Here is a view facing the stove. That countertop is really long, which is nice and gives me a lot of space to work with. The stove is on the last section of that counter. From my kitchen counter post, I removed the things on the stove and replaced them with a small sign and a long cutting board from Hobby Lobby.
On the round tray, I replaced the blue wood pumpkin with a pumpkin Luminara candle (it’s actually a jack-o-lantern, but I turned it backwards until Halloween). Man, y’all, this thing is amazing! It is worth every. single. penny. My husband kept trying to blow it out then tried to put his finger through it when it wouldn’t go out! He finally figured out it was fake, ha!
I updated a few things in my laundry area for my fall home tour. I hung some fabric over the water hookups until I can finish my water hookup cover (y’all I ironed both of those fabrics a million times, but there must be a wrinkle gremlin that comes behind me every time I iron!). I also added a table to the corner so that my decorative basket can be seen better.
Finally, just a quick re-cap, we have our guest bathroom. It really needs to be updated, but we haven’t been able to do that yet. I added these shelves over the toilet and across from it, and they allow me to add decor as well as store toilet paper and extra towels in there. Huge plus! (I hate this wall color so much y’all! Someone come help me paint every room in the house. It’s actually a little more gray than it appears in the photos, so it’s not AS bas as it looks.)
Next week I will begin decorating for Halloween with Tammy from Patina and Paint and Teresa from Through a Vintage Door. So my posting schedule will remain a little different over the next few weeks as we decorate. Instead of Wednesday and Saturday, it will be Tuesday and Friday like it has been over the past few weeks.
Be sure to follow me on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok where shared the video of my fall home tour on Wednesday. I hope to see you there!
Before you go, head over and check out my dear friends’ fall home tours!
