Don’t forget to link up on Happiness is Homemade. Now let’s get to the posts that I shared over the last week.
This week I joined 13 other bloggers for a Summer on a tray Blog Tour. Check out my post where I shared 3 decorative and functional tray ideas for your kitchen this summer.
Today is our Creative Craft Hop with 10 bloggers sharing great DIY project ideas. I shared a DIY knotted rope vase which I came up with after finding a $55 knotted rope vase that I really liked. I created my DIY vase for $2.50!
This Week’s Features!

Wakefield homemade pottery pieces are beautiful, but the prices start at $52 for very small pieces and just go up from there. If you want the beauty without the price tag, MaryJo’s, of Master”pieces” of My Life, Wakefield pottery dupes are just what you need. These lovely pieces are made for with Dollar Tree and craft store items, saving you a bundle!

Oh my goodness, I can’t get over how much I love these DIY seahorse napkin rings by Cara of Vintage Style Gal! They were made with a few Dollar Tree supplies, and y’all know how much I love my DT DIYs. The faux rust look just sets it over the top, doesn’t it?!
Debbee from Debbee’s Buzz always has amazing tablescapes and party ideas, and she didn’t disappoint with this summer jungle themed setup! I’m in love with the twig cutlery because the handles are actually twig shaped! In the post she also tells you how to create a palm leaf fold with napkins, so be sure to check it out.
Sticking with our tablescape theme for one more post, we have this beautiful mermaid and seashell themed table from Jenna of The Painted Apron. Cara’s napkin rings would be perfect for this table! Head over and check out Jenna’s post because it contains several summer themed tablescapes including a tiki bar and a pirate themed one that are just adorable!
I got a little off my summer/tablescape theme with this one, but I just had to share it because my husband hung ugly wire shelves over our washer and dryer before I knew what he was doing one day. I had planned to put up a wood shelf, but I digress. Wendy of My French Twist created the perfect solution to my predicament with these DIY grain sack curtains. They are affordable, adorable, and completely hide ugly wire shelving. Genius idea!
