It’s already feeling like summer down here on the Gulf Coast (or what would feel like summer for most of the country!) with temps reaching well into the 80s some days. Niky over at The House on Silverado shared a post full of ideas for creating a front porch that will take your from late spring into summer.
The beginning of May has so many opportunities to celebrate, and one of those is May 1 which is May Day. It’s a great opportunity to surprise your neighbors with treats or flowers anonymously. Donna of An Organized Season shows you how to make beautiful cones to deliver flowers to their front doors.
Antonella at White House Crafts shared another project perfect for summer with these adorable flamingo cupcake toppers. It’s a great way to put some Easter supplies to good use with her free printable cut file. I won’t give the whole secret away; you’ll have to see for yourself!
Dollar Tree has started to put out their summer items, and this year they have adorable shell and mermaid tail wreath forms! Jordan at Jordan’s Easy Entertainment managed to scoop a few up to make this super cute mermaid tail wreath. The seahorse pick is even a Dollar Tree score!
Pam over at An Artful Mom made this flip flop book for her friend’s daughter to use for her summer photos. There are so many ways to customize this adorable idea using child-sized flip flops. Dollar Tree has so many options to choose from. You could make this as a Mother’s Day gift filled with photos for those beach-lovin’ mamas out there!
