Hello friends! I’m glad you’re here because I have the cutest and fastest spring decor projects to share with you today. A few weeks ago I found an arrangement at Dollar Tree, but it was missing an egg. It was the only one left, so I picked it up, knowing I could figure out what to do with it. I finally got around to working on it, and I’m so glad I bought it. Today I’m going to show you how to turn a Dollar Tree floral arrangement into a high-end looking DIY spring decoration.
DIY Spring Floral Arrangement Supplies:
- $5 spring floral arrangement
- 4 lamb’s ear stems
- a few pieces of baby’s breath (optional)
- moss (optional)
- 1.5″ wired ribbon
- pipe cleaner
- hot glue gun & glue
- scissors
I chose to add lamb’s ear and a little baby’s breath to my Dollar Tree arrangement because the greenery in it seemed to be a cheaper version of my stems. You can use whatever greenery you prefer, or faux flowers.
Cut the stems of the lamb’s ear to fit in the flowerpot.
Next, place a ribbon around the flowerpot.
I used a 1.5″ khaki linen ribbon on my DIY spring arrangement. Any ribbon between 1.5-2.5″ will work.
Place the ribbon around the flowerpot, cut it to size, then glue it in place.
That’s it! Now just display your “hard work!”
How easy was that?! It’s so worth the ten minutes of extra time you spent on this spring arrangement. The addition of the higher-end greenery makes a big difference, and the bow is just the icing on the cake.
