Family Bunny Sign Supplies:
- Dollar Tree “Cottontail” sign ($1.25)
- Beacon Quick Grip
- chalk paint (white & pink)
- paint brush
- vinyl (or a paint pen without a cutting machine)
- cardstock (wood patterned- $0.99 & another for the bunnies- $0.99)
- Elmer’s glue stick
Remove the middle plaque from the Dollar Tree bunny sign. I just slid a utility knife under it all the way around and it pulled up easily.
Since the paper will more than likely rip when you remove the small sign, place a piece of cardstock over it. I just pressed the paper up against the side and bottom, then rubbed my finger along the outer wood pieces. That left a crease that allowed me to cut the paper to fit the family bunny sign. I cut it slightly outside the creases so that there would be no errors.
For personal use only!
This design is for personal use only, not commercial use. If you’d like to share it with friends or family, feel free to use the buttons at the end of the post to share it with them on social media or send them straight to the blog. Please don’t download this image and give it to multiple people. I’d love to have them come visit the blog! This helps me to keep these free printables, PNGs, & SVGs coming to you for free! Also, the preview image of the design has my logo overlaid on them. That will not show up on your downloaded file. It is there to keep anyone from stealing and printing them straight from Google without coming here. Thanks y’all!

Whenever I make a design, you know I always share it with you! You can use a cutting machine for this project, but it’s not necessary. If you don’t have one, download and print the design below, then use the carbon copy method to transfer the design onto your family bunny sign. There’s a full tutorial for that in my St. Patrick’s Day sign tutorial.

When you print the sign make sure it’s the size that you need. Transfer the words to the sign, then trace and cut the bunnies from pretty cardstock to add later. If you’d like me to make and send you the names in your family (for free), just send me an email or use my contact page. I will do my best to do that and get it back to you as soon as possible. Be sure to send them in early in case I get overwhelmed with requests and can’t get to yours.
If you have a cutting machine, you can upload the design to Design Space to cut the words with vinyl and the bunnies on cardstock. You can use my design here if you’d like. I removed our names, so it’s just the bunnies & words. You can duplicate the bunnies and/or make them smaller to fit your family size onto the bunny sign.
Add your family bunnies to the sign.
Transfer the words to the small painted sign with transfer tape if you used vinyl or the carbon copy method if you don’t have a cutting machine.
Add Quick Grip to the back of the family bunny sign and press it onto the main one. Lift it up slightly and place it back down three times. That allows the glue to adhere quickly.
Easy right? Making your own for less than $5 is way better than spending $38-48 in this economy! I love the way it turned out. I will be adding the video tutorial later today and some photos when the light gets better in our living room.
