Hello friends! Summer is just about over, and that means it’s time to head back to school. As I’ve mentioned over the years, I always like to bring a little gift on meet the teacher night. For us, we meet them a day and a half before the kids officially start school. Since I don’t yet know the teachers, not even their names until we arrive, I like to get something neutral that anyone can use. This year I made keychain lip balm holders and fabric key fob keychains. Today I’m sharing a free printable teacher gift tag (actually 7 of them!) to use on keychains or lip balms. I’ve got two different designs and many color options to choose from. Enjoy!
Update: I ended up customizing the key fobs with the teacher’s monogram and making felt gift envelopes to place them in. The gifts ended up being so, so adorable! Don’t miss the tutorial for the envelopes and gift packaging that I’ll be sharing on Monday. Follow me on social media and via email so that you never miss a new idea!
For personal use only!
This design is for personal use only, not commercial use. If you’d like to share it with friends or family, feel free to use the buttons at the end of the post to share it with them on social media or send them straight to the blog. Please don’t download this image and give it to multiple people. I’d love to have them come visit the blog! This helps me to keep these free printables, PNGs, & SVGs coming to you for free! Also, the preview image of the design has my logo overlaid on them. That will not show up on your downloaded file. It is there to keep anyone from stealing and printing them straight from Google without coming here. Thanks y’all!
The first set of free printable gift tags that I made are for keychain teacher gifts. You can put them on a keychain you purchased, one your made (like I did), or on the chapstick holder keychain that I showed you how to make earlier this week. I made my set black with gray for the normal metal part of the key. That was mostly to match the fabric that I used in making the key fob keychains. I made a couple of other colors so hopefully there will be one that works for your style keychain. I placed three sets (two keys make one gift tag) on each page because my son usually has more than one teacher. Print as many as you need for the number of teachers your child has.
Finally, cream with black writing. I wanted to do just black and white to save ink, but you obviously wouldn’t have been able to see the tags to cut them. Hopefully this saves a little ink.
All that’s left to do is send your little one off to school to hopefully score some brownie points with his new teacher!
I’m in the process of making another key fob keychain for his other teachers. I also have several lip balm holders that I’m going to give to the teachers of his enrichment classes like library, art, music, etc. Here’s one of my back to school teacher’s gifts. Also- keep reading for more teacher’s gift ideas and free printables!
