Welcome to Crafty Creators Link Party, where you can share all of your wonderful crafts, DIYs, fashion, recipes, or any other thing that makes your heart happy! After you link up, I’d love it if you’d spread the word about the party! Remember, you must be following me on social media in order to be featured on next week’s party. I want to thank Allyson of Southern Sunflowers for being a cohost during the month of July. I’m back choosing features for August! If anyone is interested in co-hosting for September, feel free to reach out!
Don’t forget to link up on Happiness is Homemade, and let’s get to the posts that I shared over the last week.
This lip balm holder keychain is a quick and easy sewing project. It’s simple enough for beginners (it was my second sewing DIY), and veteran seamstresses can knock it out in less than an hour! I made several to give to the teachers at my son’s school.
Here’s another easy sewing tutorial for newbies like me and for those wondering if you can do it like I did (like forever!). These DIY fabric keychains are so easy, and they work great with the free printable back to school gift tags as gifts for teachers!
Finally, this week I shared several free printable gift tags to place on back to school gifts for your child’s teachers. There are two different types, one for keychains (which could go on the lip balm or the regular keychains as well as any you buy) and one for lip balm (again, the fabric holders or just store bought lip balm like EOS, Vaseline Lip Therapy [my fave!], etc.). The keychain tags are adorable key shapes in three different sayings. They’re available in four color options (maybe a fifth added tonight). I shared five colors in the lip balm gift tags, in three different wordings.
FEATURED BLOGGER GUIDELINES: Follow Niki on FB & IG for more recognition! If you are featured this week, let me know in the comments if you’re following me on Facebook and/or Instagram. Just a short “following” will do. If you are following, Niki will schedule a post promoting your featured post across all of my social media accounts including FB, IG, Twitter, MeWe, etc. I will tag you in the post so that all of your followers can see how great your post was as well! The social media features happen throughout the weekend and just before next week’s party (usually on Tuesday and Wednesday nights). I love showing y’all some love! If it’s been a while since you’ve been featured and you’re following, leave me a comment just in case. I’ve got a lot of craziness going on and a terrible short-term memory lol!
Debbie over at Debbie Dabble Blog created a beautiful coastal Christmas tree in her living room as part of her late summer beach decor. You have to go check out the amazing ornaments that she made along with her “beach” under the tree. Her nautical tablescape is a must-see as well!
These three map upcycle ideas by Beth from Creatively Beth are a great way to memorialize your summer vacation this year! Summer is coming to an end, but you can make it last a little longer with these wonderful DIYs: coasters, canvas wall art, and a gift bag.

Ann of Apple Street Cottage shared an ashtray stand makeover that’s gorgeous! It’s great inspiration for our thrift store finds. Can’t you just imagine changing out the decor inside the birdcage, that she found for $1 by the way, to fit any season?
As your older kiddos head back to school, these DIY bottle planter animals are a great project to make with your smaller children. Sometimes littles feel left out as their brothers and sisters get new clothes, supplies, and head off for what they see as a great adventure. This tutorial shared by Mel over at Decor Craft Design is a fun adventure they can go on themselves (with Mom or Dad of course)!
Finally, as we end summer as head back to school, I wanted to share this ruler door hanger/wreath made by Laura of Me & My Inklings. It would make a cute back to school gift for your child’s teacher, and you could change up some things to fit their classroom theme or the school colors. There are limitless ways to customize it!
